Regionals Tournament
Luzon, GMA, Visayas and Mindanao, are you ready for another year of exciting tournaments and events? This year we will be going to 8 locations searching for the brave teams nationwide. These teams will battle it out to become the Regionals Champions and take the final 2 spots in the RPC Final 8! So heed the call, warriors of Midgard! Face the trials and start your path towards your great destiny!
Event Schedule

Eligibility
• Each participant must bring valid ID with picture. Valid IDs are present School ID, Government ID such as LTO, Student Permit. Valid IDs will have to be presented but not turned over to the LU Staff present.
• In case there is a problem with the ID, please bring copy of Birth Certificate. The Birth Certificate is only used to supplement your ID. The Birth Certificate cannot be used in place of an actual ID.
• Each player is only allowed to play for one guild for the whole Regionals Tournament. Players cannot play for any other guild aside from the guild they initially registered with, even if the player registers in other locations.
Ex. Player named [Eremes Guile] member of the guild [Transcendent Family] joined the Regionals in Manila, will not be allowed to play for the Midgard Heroes guild.
• Each guild may join regional tournaments in other locations only if they haven’t won a tournament. Thus, if the guild already won from one of the Regional Tournaments in 2009, they are not allowed to join other Regionals Tournament.
Ex.
A. [Transcendent Family] guild lost during the Regionals held in Manila, their guild may join the Regionals in Quezon City or in other Regionals Tournament until they win.
B. If [Transcendent Family] guild already won from the Regionals in Quezon City, they will not be allowed to join other Regionals tournament.
• Level Up employees up to the 2nd degree of affinity and consanguinity are disqualified from joining the Regional Opens, Inter-Server Eliminations, Inter-server Finals and National Finals of RPC 2009.
Pre-registration
Pre-registered teams will be prioritized.
The Team Captain must send their line-up in MS excel sheet including the following details:
- Team Name
- Team Captain Name
- Server
- Real Name (each member)
- Job Class ( each member)
- Address (each member)
- Email Address (each member)
- Contact Number (each member)

- Verified line-up will receive an email confirmation.
- Only 16 teams per area will be accommodated. This will be determined based on the time we received the email.
- Pre-registered teams must be at the venue on or before 10:00am. If the team is called and not present, their slot will be void.
- All pre-registered teams will be posted at www.ragnaboards.ph on their respective areas.
Registration
• Registration will open for all once all pre-registered teams have already completed the registration.
• Registration starts at 10:00am and will end at 2:00pm. Once the matches begin, registration is closed.
• Only the first 16 teams to register will be qualified to enter the tournament.
• The 17th and 18th team to register will be qualified if in case a team out of the 16 teams gets forfeited.
• The 17th and 18th Teams can only replace a forfeited team in the first round of matches. After the 16 teams have completed their first matches, the 17th and 18th team can no longer replace any forfeited team.
• Each participant must pay P100 registration fee inclusive of 50 unused Top-up load and participants’ package (code will be given to players on the day of the tournament):

• All participants must be present upon registration.
Match Rules
• Accounts will be provided by the Tournament marshals.
• When the team is called up for their match, they will be given 15 minutes to show up. If they don’t show up after 15 minutes of being called, they will be disqualified and automatically lose the match.
• Players may bring their own Keyboard, Mouse and Mouse Pad on the tournament day. They must inform the officials upon registration that they have their own Keyboard and Mouse so that time can be allocated per match for swapping.
• Players must bring their own Team Emblem. It must be carried in a flash drive and the teams must have it installed during the initial setup time. Default emblems will be provided if a team does not bring their own.
• Teams that are fighting each other are not allowed to use the same emblem.
• Only the Tournament Committee, the Tournament Director, the head judge, and other tournament officials have the right to stop the match if needed.
• The tournament will be a 7 vs 7 team match
• Teams will then be given 15 minutes for their equipment set-up.
• The match will be a single elimination round from the first 16 teams until the final 4 teams are determined.
• The semi-final and final matches of each day will be best-of-3-rounds.
• If a round ends with neither team completely eliminated, the team with the most surviving members will win.
• If a round ends with both teams having the same number of surviving members, they are then subject to a 1-round sudden-death match with NO HP or SP restoring items and no High Priest. All members except High Priests will log in again for a 6 vs 6 match. The player of the High Priest account may remain with the team, but may not log in the account.
• The start of a match will be signaled by marshaling Game Masters. Players may start casting buffs the moment they enter the arena. A countdown will be given before the match is started. Use of other skills, on the other hand, is restricted until the marshals give their go signal. Offending players will be given a warning; then on the second offense, penalty will be disqualification from the tournament. The same rule holds for those who attack a tournament marshal.
• Each match will last 7 minutes.

• 10M zeny will be allocated for each participant to use till the end of the tournament.
• Item drop and trade has been disabled. Use of Vending skill is prohibited. Items currently cannot be sold back to the NPCs or placed in Kafra storage. Do not overbuy.

• Item Restrictions.
- Purchase of Poison Bottles is limited to Assassin Cross while the other bottles are only available to Biochemists.
- Acid Bottles and Grenades are limited to 5 pcs each, while Poison Bottles are limited to 3pcs for the whole match.
• Plagiarism skill of Stalker will be learned through the match itself or while the match is ongoing.
Player Responsibilities
1. Players must follow the rules interpretations and guidelines for play set forth by the RPC Tournament Committee, the Tournament Director, the head judge, and other tournament officials.
2. Players are expected to behave in a respectful and sporting manner at all times.
3. Players are expected to promptly bring up any issues they may have with the marshals during preparation time. Any complaints after the countdown in the arena will not be entertained.
4. Players who argue with or fail to follow the instructions of the Tournament Director, head judge or other tournament officials are subject to the appropriate penalties as the case may be.
5. Level Up and/or officials of the RPC Tournament Committee reserve the right to suspend or ban a player or guild without prior notice for any reason deemed necessary.
6. The decision of the Referees, Game Masters, and tournament officials ARE FINAL.
7. Level Up has the right to change/delete portions/expound/clarify/interpret tournament rules depending on circumstances as they see fit for a fair and balanced competition environment
TOURNAMENT-PROPER RULES, PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS
1. After logging in, players will be asked to place their hands off their keyboards and wait for the head marshal’s instructions.
2. A GM will count down which will signal the start of a match. During this time, players may start casting support spells. Once the match is officially started, the team will then battle it out with the opposing team.
3. In case of disconnection due to external force (includes network & hardware problems), the match will be stopped and then restarted. Only marshals have the authority to stop a tournament.
RULES ON MATCH STOPPAGE. Matches will be stopped ONLY on the following counts:
A Gravity Error handler message, sprite errors, a Windows Error Message, Disconnected from Server message, Terminal Crash or Freezing, or BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)
4. Any event that transpires (including Character kills and fouls) before a match is paused is considered legal.
5. GMs and Referee DECISION IS FINAL
6. Winners will be determined by the following: - The team that destroys/kills ALL members of the opposing team - The team with the most number of kills after the determined match period wins the round.
7. CONCEDING – Conceding a match can only be done before the match begins.
8. FOULS:
• Zoning Foul – This is defined as moving your character in an unauthorized area or refusing to follow move orders issued by the GM in-game.
• Skill Foul – This is defined as using skills in the tournament area before the countdown by the head marshal.
• Striking Foul – This is defined as striking any of the GMs in game.
• Technical Foul – This is defined as engaging in any behavior that is unsportsmanlike and includes excessive profanity or violence against property or individuals including the marshals.
• Decorum Violations: Which include:
a. abandoning the terminal
b. Using a cellphone in the tournament area or having the cellphone ringing or buzzing.
Fouls are counted as “kills” on the team, that is, they are subtracted from the number of surviving members of a team to determine the final score.
Ex: Team A has 2 fouls and 6 surviving members at the end of the fight. They will be treated as having only 4 surviving members. - A team that accumulates 3 or more fouls automatically loses a game -
9. Players CANNOT change Ragnarok game settings, resolution, sound, etc.
10. Trash-talking is allowed to an extent. Please avoid cussing and profanity during all stages of the tournament.
11. Players are advised to follow all rules and regulations of the Venue during the tournament
12. As players enter the setting/tourney area, they should sit in front of a workstation assigned to them and wait for further instructions. They are allowed to chat in-game but must strictly follow the rules.
13. In case there is a clarification of rules, final call would be on the Regionals Head Tournament judge. All decisions are final.
